Yes, absolutely. This fixture features a versatile, dual-orientation design. It can be mounted either vertically (perfect for flanking vanity mirrors or TV accent walls) or horizontally (ideal above round mirrors or horizontal artwork) without compromising safety or aesthetic proportions.
How do I replace the bulb? Do I need to remove the whole fixture?
Replacing the bulb is quick and tool-free. You do not need to uninstall the fixture from the wall. Simply unscrew the threaded metal collar at the center base, gently slide the prismatic glass tube out, and rotate to change the standard E26 base bulb inside.
Is this light suitable for bathroom use? Will it rust over time?
We eschew cheap hollow tubes and thin plating. The Thadean collection is precision-crafted from heavy-weighted solid brass and solid stainless steel, offering a substantial, premium feel in hand. Its substantial architectural lines instantly bring a timeless, gallery-worthy presence to your walls.
Is this sconce bright enough to be the primary light source in a room?
This sconce is designed to provide beautiful, soft ambient and task lighting filtered through prismatic glass. While installing a pair symmetrically provides excellent, shadow-free vanity lighting, we recommend pairing it with ceiling recessed lights or secondary ambient lights for large spaces.
How should I clean and maintain the fluted glass and metal finish?
Maintenance is simple. Always turn off the power first. Dust the metal hardware with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. The fluted glass tubes can be easily removed and wiped down. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive pads, as they may damage the premium plated finish.
Return Policy
Penmery’s return policy lasts for 30 days from the date you receive your item. Unfortunately, returns requested after this period are not eligible for a refund or exchange. To initiate a return, please email
support@penmery.com. We will reply with the return mailing address, and you will need to cover the shipping costs upfront (refunds for shipping costs may apply as needed).
Items must be unused and in their original packaging. We do not accept returns for:
- Installed or used items
- Returns requested after 30 days
Order Cancellation Policy
Orders Not Yet Shipped:
- Orders canceled within 24 hours of purchase: Full refund.
- Orders canceled or modified after 24 hours but before shipment: 5% handling fee of the order total will apply.
Orders Already Shipped but Not Yet Delivered: Cancellations will be processed as a return, and a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
Order Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 3-5 business days after payment confirmation. Special orders may require 5-9 business days. Weekend orders may experience slight delays, as our warehouse operates Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Product Warranty:
All our products come with a 2-year warranty (excluding bulbs). Rest assured, if you experience any product issues during the warranty period, please contact us immediately at support@penmery.com.
Please send us details of the issue in the form of pictures or videos. Our customer service representative will respond within 12 hours to discuss the specific problem. If it's a part issue, we will mail new parts for replacement free of charge via express shipping. We also include 5-6 additional spare parts in the packaging of all products.
In cases where improper installation caused product contact issues, our technical experts will resolve the problem within 12 hours. (We strongly recommend using professional lighting personnel for installation.)
Note:
- Replacements will not include an entirely new product. If other parts of the fixture (e.g., crystals, screws, bulbs) are intact, we will only resend the defective components.
- Please ensure proper care and storage of the fixture while waiting for replacement parts.
- Product issues caused by man-made damage or natural disasters are not covered under our warranty policy.

If I receive a broken product, what should I do?
Firstly, you don’t need to worry about potential damage during shipping. Most of our products are securely packed in wooden crates, with additional protective layers such as cardboard boxes inside. This ensures that the products are well-protected and rarely arrive damaged.
Secondly, many of our customers have placed orders with us and have been highly satisfied with the condition of the products they received. Rest assured, we prioritize the quality of your purchase experience.
Finally, in the rare event that there is an issue with your order, we are committed to providing a prompt and effective solution.
How to return an item?
Return Instructions
- Do Not Use or Install: Keep the product unused.
- Original Packaging: Ensure the item is in its original packaging.
- Request a Return: Email support@penmery.com within 30 days of delivery, including your order number and photos/videos of the product. We’ll confirm eligibility within 48 hours.
- Shipping Back: If approved, we’ll provide the return address and instructions. Returns without authorization won’t be accepted. Use a tracked and signed shipping method, as we aren’t responsible for lost items.
- Refund or Exchange: Once received, we’ll inspect the item within 3-5 business days and issue a refund or exchange.
Is it possible to customize the size, color and specification of this product?
Of course you can, we can make the lamps to your satisfaction according to your needs.
We will send you the design drawing and give you confirmation, we will start the production after your confirmation, and we will send you the effect picture after the production is finished, and finally we will send it to you by express.
